The Russian Federation has historically been one of the largest multinational (polyethnic) states in the world. More than 190 ethnic groups live in our country, which are carriers of a unique material and spiritual culture, languages and dialects. And to one degree or another, the media cover events from their lives. Ethnojournalism is one of the areas of work of the mass media: periodicals, television, radio, news agencies. Through ethnojournalism, the mass audience receives information about the traditional culture of the peoples of Russia, the characteristics of the national republics, and the ethnopolitical processes of the Russian Federation.
